Abstract
Socialization of youth retains a certain stability under conditions of social changes because of public mechanism of reproduction of social experience from generation to generation, which has been historically developed in Russia, although evaluations of the effectiveness of socialization are altering. Taking the new situation in the Russian society into consideration we examine the unstudied questions of the theory of socialization: (1) the problem of ratio of primary and secondary socialization; (2) the problem of personality of young man; (3) the problem of social development in personal dimension.
