Childhood Ecology in the Information Society: Factor of the Pedagogical Culture

Abstract

The article develops the culturological aspect of childhood ecology as a branch of human ecology. Attention is focused on the educational process transformation in conditions of intensive information, on pedagogical culture of its adult subjects. It is alleged that the pedagogical culture in a global world acquires new essential features and functions, not only eco-cultural translation of values, but also the formation in younger generation of new positive eco-cultural experience as the basis of individual and society environmental culture. Key words: the phenomenon of childhood, childhood ecology, human ecology, environmental culture, education, socialization, pedagogical culture, professional competence of teachers.
