ON TOPICAL ISSUES OF IMPROVING PROFESSIONAL TEACHER EDUCATION

Abstract

The article outlines the current issues of teacher training in different areas of education. The main emphasis is placed on the contradictions in the implementation of teaching activities by specialists who do not have professional pedagogical training, staff shortage and the accelerated growth of social demand for pedagogical services. An analysis of the updated regulatory framework in the field of personnel development of the education system and the preliminary results of pedagogical universities within the approved Concept of Pedagogical Staff Training are presented. Particular attention is paid to the current state and prospects of preprofessional education in high schools. Based on the retrospective of the domestic practices of XVIIIXX centuries, the main points of growth and modern possibilities of introducing a set of psychological and pedagogical disciplines into the basic general education program were identified.
