Abstract
The paper is devoted to the analysis of the development of the creative scientific heritage of the outstanding Russian scientist, physician and teacher, Academician V. P. Filatov. The materials reflecting the evolution of the development of ideas about natural biogenic stimulators, principles of tissue therapy, creation of drugs with animal and plant origin are presented. Special attention is paid to the historical bases of V. P. Filatov\'s personality formation. The stages of tissue therapy methods development and their practical application in modern conditions are reflected. Keywords: V.P.
